First, let me apologize for not posting lately - the holidays came and went and I'm having trouble getting back into the routine. Isn't it funny how hard bad habits are to break but how easy we give up good habits? For years, I've started and restarted writing in my journal. I'll write regularly for a few weeks or months, then set it down for months or years! Then something triggers me to pull it out again. Guess this is much the same. We sent Christmas letters out this year with the blog address, so now I better get some updates in here!
Speaking of Christmas letters, loved hearing from so many folks, and really appreciated the words of encouragement. It was a good year to get caught up. Thanks!
Now to Bobby's update. He had the followup CT Scan last Tuesday. Got a call from Dr Keller's office on Thursday afternoon. Kathryn (the nurse) said that although the radiologist had not yet filed his report, Dr Keller had looked at Bobby's scans, and in his opinion, everything was STABLE, meaning there was no growth in the tumors in his adrenal glands. He said it's good news, and should indicate that the treatment was successful and that we'd probably be going back for more treatment. This is all still preliminary because Dr Sosman has not yet weighed in on it. We played phone tag with his nurse all day Friday.
We are calling it good news for now, at least til we're told otherwise. We'll keep you posted when we learn more. Love, Juli
