Ohmygosh, the past few months have flown by. A couple of road trips, out of town company, and of course the holidays have kept us on the go. Thankfully, Bobby has been feeling great since he went on a Votrient break in October. After our great news in August, he were able to tolerate just another two months of the side effects. He was miserable most of the time, exhausted but unable to really rest, no appetite and all kinds of stomach issues, and very frustrated with the inability to get even simple things done around the house. We finally got to the point of calling and saying we thought maybe something else was going on. They did lab work and every looked good. Dr Keller said perhaps it was just time to give his body a break. So since October 23rd we've had the old Bobby back. He's riding his bike, keeping up with friends and not complaining as much. It has been wonderful to enjoy the holidays.
We will see Dr Keller on January 22 for scans and decisions about the next step.
Here's a couple of pics from our Thanksgiving with the D'Ereditas and Christmas with the Fords (including our First Annual Family Christmas T-Shirts).
And a quick trip to Memphis to see all the Armours.
Oh, did I mention that Bobby went through his midlife crisis last month? Yep, I figured it was either that or he was considering an audition for Santa Claus.
We wish you all the very best for a happy and healthy 2014. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.
Love, Juli
