We had a good visit with Dr Sosman. He seems very competent and experienced. There wasn't a lot of new information, which was good, just a confirmation that we're doing the right thing in the right place. The plan is to get some testing done in Tulsa (Pulmonary Function Test, Brain MRI & Cardiac Stress Test) to make sure there's no problems and to establish a baseline. He thought they'd be able to schedule the IL2 to start in 2-3 weeks.
We did meet a fellow kidney cancer survivor in the waiting room, and she gave us some tips on getting through the IL2 treatment. She had nothing but good things to say about Dr Sosman - said he is ranked #3 in the nation for treating kidney cancer.
We spent the night here in Nashville & are heading back to Memphis today, then on to Tulsa tomorrow.

Juli - This is so good for all of us. We'll know how to pray, and we want to pray specifically, and passionately. You are both precious to us. God will redeem. Keep writing. I'm reading and praying.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop. You know that you are in our thoughts and prayers on a daily basis. It's a well documented fact that only 10% of people who have played me in racquetball made me look silly slow. When we played, Bobby made me look silly slow. I have every confidence that Bobby is strong enough to make renal cell cancer look silly.
