Round 2: Just Like We Like It

The second dose of chemo on Tuesday went smoothly - it was quick and easy, just like we like it. No new side effects and Bobby's felt well enough to ride 26 miles on Wednesday.

The blood pressure issues are now under control, after adding Lysinopril to the mix.  Bobby was already taking Mycardis for blood pressure, but the first round of chemo raised his blood pressure to a scary (for us) BP of 165/95. Now if he can keep the Neighborhood Association (of which he is the current President) issues from making it go back up, we'll be doing great.

It's been a mild winter so far in Tulsa this year, we're really enjoying it.  In fact, with 68 degree temps today, a bike ride might be in order.

Thanks for checking in on us and for your continued prayers. Thanks for praying for my sister Lynne, too.  Her metastatic breast cancer is stable at the moment, and she continues her 3x/month chemo regimen - going on 16 months!  We love having her & Rick in Tulsa.

Love, Juli

Ok I'm trying again :)!. Typos galore in my first effort:)! I'm so glad to hear your good news! 36 miles would put any of my family under...panting along the roadside! You should be thankful for that beautiful weather. We've missed so much school and have had about 15 inches of snow this year. Libby's in Brooklyn so I'm definitely not complaining! Hangin' in with you.

Good for Bobby being the neighborhood association president. I hope your association is better than ours. I quit going to the meeting because of the petty bickering among some of the people.

He is still on the prayer list!
