The drive over from Memphis today was easy and very familiar. I've just about memorized all the landmarks after our 9th drive down I-40, including the hot spots for the State Troopers, the locations of the two Starbucks, three Dairy Queens and even the little town of Bucksnort. Bucksnort?? Almost as bad as Toad Suck Park outside of Conway, Arkansas.
Speaking of Arkansas, we had a major turn of events when Michael called last week with the news that he's reconsidered his college decision and wants to go to OU instead of Arkansas. We decided to drive home Wednesday to sit down and discuss it with him. It was great to spend a little time with Michael, and also check on the dog and the house. He's been doing a pretty good job keeping up with things, but it made me feel better to be there. He's committed to this change of plans, so he has a lot of things to take care of this week.
We're settling in tonight for Round 2 of Cycle 2 of High Dose IL2, at least I think we've finally figured out the correct terminology. All we know is that it's the start of another long week. Bobby's tired, but in good spirits, and looking forward to getting it over with.
Thanks for hanging in there with us. Love, Juli
